Lake Matheson is one of New Zealand's most photographed lakes. Unfortunately, we didn't visit the lake early enough in the morning when its surface is mirror smooth.

While exploring around the lake, I saw some pretty orange/red flowers.
These flowers were protected by a horde of ravenous plants and I did not leave the area unscathed.
